Talk to your doctor : The combination of Trazodone and Ativan (lorazepam) can be sedating with a hangover effect. Talk to your doctor about a medication adjustment. Best wishes!

I was prescribed 50mg of Trazodone six weeks ago to help sleep. I am also on 1.5mg of Ativan (lorazepam) (6+ years). I would like to stop both, Traz first.
Last dec. I felt a vibrating in my chest & was put on ativan (lorazepam) for anxiety. Now it's in my head, is still constant/intense with citalopram (& trazodone to sleep). Also a bit dizzy. What could this be?
Can you take ativan (lorazepam) and trazadone at the same time. I take 100mg of trazadone at night and three .5 Ativan (lorazepam) daily as needed.
