Blood in stool: Usually bright red blood is from colon/ past the ligament of Teitz, hemorrhoids, diverticula, masses polyps, would have been seen on colonoscopy, A. rare condition is Meckles diverticula which is seen by a scan or CT. Sometimes food intolerances cause lower GI bleed. Your stomach pain is gastritis from drinking, stop and start ranitidine/prevecid. F/U with doc/urgent care/GI, may need pillcam

From hemorrhoids: If the only finding on colonoscopy is internal hemorrhoids, it's fairly certain the blood in stool is from bleeding internal hemorrhoids. The condition is painless. You can often reduce bleeding by eating a high fiber diet, drinking adequate fluids and avoid straining at stool. Avoid constipation.
