It all depends: If things go well, and breathing, feeding, and temperature maintenance are all stable, your little one may do well and discharge without NICU time. A 36 week IUGR twin doesn't necessarily require special measures. Bottom line: Please place your trust in the neonatologists and nursing staff! They want what's best for your babies and if something isn't quite right, will err on the side of caution.
