Maybe: The problem with newborns is the overlap of several conditions that cause initial difficulties. Various germs that can enter the amniotic fluid can cause death within 24 hrs if not anticipated & treated aggressively. I've seen it happen more than once. I would never try to 2nd guess those caring for your baby. It is wonderful that she is responding so well.
