Lymphoma rates: ...were increased in patients receiving Humira in a Taiwanese study, at a rate of 0.5% (1 in 200) which was 3x higher than the normal population. Other large studies have shown increased rates of lymphoma in RA (rheumatoid arthritis) patients regardless of whether they took Humira (adalimumab). So the risk may not just be from the drug, but also the disease for which the drug is being used.

Still small: Overall incidence of pediatric/adolescent lymphoma is 10-20 cases per million population per year. TNF inhibitors like Humira (adalimumab) may double or even triple this risk to 30-60 cases. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
