High carbs, high fat: Food that has a high amount of carbohydrates(sugar/starch) as well as foods high in fat/cholesterol (especially saturated fat) is junk food. These foods also will have a lot of calories. So potato chips, doughnuts, candy, pizza, cheeseburgers, snack cakes, etc. would fit in this category. Try to eat foods high in protein and fiber, low in carbohydrates, and polyunsaturated fats for better health.
