More info: You need to provide more information to make a proper comment. What are the symptoms for which they ordered the hida and us? Labs?

Symptoms: If symptoms thought to be related to gall bladder disesase the normal tests would be against gb disease.. Endoscopy may be performed to esclude esophagus (esophagitis), stomach (gastritis) , and duodenum (ulcer , duodneitis etc) as causes of symptoms.Blood tests may be perfomred to exclude liver(hepatitos) and pancreas(pancreatitis) as source of problems. Your physician should advise you.

other G.I problems: If the ultrasound and hida scan are completely normal, it is very likely that you do not have any biliary tree problems. However, many other diseases may mimic some hepatobiliary diseases such as ulcers or inflammation of the oesophagus, stomach or duodenum. Blood tests may also be useful to rule out the presence of h.Pilori which may cause similar symptoms.
