If he truly has ...: ...the measles, the chances you will get it are very high if you have not been vaccinated. It is VERY contagious. But even though we have heard a lot about measles lately, at least here in the US, most people around the world have been vaccinated. Many other, usually viral, diseases cause a rash and fever. Wash your hands, practice sensible hygiene, and find out what he had if you can! Stay well!
