Anti emetics: Well known side effects of narcotic medications includes nausea, vomiting or upset stomach. There are many anti emetic medications that can help with these symptoms; zofran, reglan, phenergan (promethazine). There are also natural remedies including taking pills on a full stomach instead of empty, also, ginger can help with nausea.

NAUSEA WITH MEDS: Most pain meds, especially narcotics cause nausea. Try taking it with food, also 50-100mg B6 will ease nausea. If necessary prescription Zifran and compazine (prochlorperazine) will help.
