Addiction: Long term use of these medications may result in dependence. The same dose may stop working and addiction can occur.

Its a problem?: Your dr must see it causing a problem. Addiction issues are very bad and distructive and very difficult for the people with addictions to see this. The hallmark of addiction is loss of control and repeated negative consequences as a result. Most with addictions have "great"reasons for those consequences, usually justifing, rationlizing etc. Ask family and friends their opinion?
