My gp has scheduled a pelvic exam, which is my first, with my next physical with him in 4 months. should i have it done with him or schedule the pelvic with someone specialized in gynecology?

Pelvic exams: To be honest I rather have you see a gynecologist, why? During the pelvic exam if there is an abnormal finding your GP would just refer you to a gynecologist for second opinion. Rather than wasting your time - your better off seeing a gynecologist who does this all the time, and can give you an answer right then and there.
