Mono? Scarlet fever?: A few infections could cause this. Among the two most likely are scarlet fever (strep throat with skin rash) and infectious mononucleosis. Both need professional care, so see your doctor soon. Far less likely is ARS (acute retroviral syndrome), i.e. a new HIV infection -- but of course only if at risk from unprotected sex, sharing drug equipment, etc (and extremely rare in women in the US).
