Hard to say.: Did your doc prescribe this knowing it could be a problem with myasthenia gravis? If so, continue as long as you are fine. If the doc did not know that you had myasthenia gravis, there are a lot of safer antibiotics out there and call the doc see if it could be changed to a safer one for you. Depending on the disease being treated, of course.

Caution: The antibiotic azithromycjn is not truly contraindicated with MG but advised to be used with caution, which is not the same thing. Since you have already started the medicine, just be on the lookout for any drug reactions like rashes, stomach pains, diarrhea or worsening in MG symptoms. If that happens, your doctor can choose an alternative antibiotic to treat your condition. Feel better:)
