AMENORRHEA : AMENORRHEA or absence of period demands prompt evaluation. You need an exam/Labs(ESPECIALLY THYROID & HORMONAL STUDIES) and a PELVIC EXAM with PAP SMEAR. Depending on the results a Pelvic Ultrasound may be warranted.

Side - where?: In your side? Where are you referring to? In ribcage area or abdomen? I recommend an exam with your MD to see where the pain is what could be causing it. Hard to diagnose that without an exam.
