Vasoconstriction: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) acts as a stimulant to your sympathetic nervous system by increasing norepinephrine & dopamine. This can lead to elevated blood pressure & heart rate. It can also cause vasoconstriction of the blood vessels in your limbs which can cause you to feel warmer at higher doses by allowing your body to conserve heat. When blood vessels are dilated, you feel cooler.
