Viral rhinitis: is probably the cause. Inflamed nasa mucosa can do this. See your gp and get some nose drop to decrease the inflammation in the nose.

Likely: Yes, if you are coughing a lot and blowing your nose from the cold you are suffering from, that is very likely what is causing you to have so many nosebleeds as all the pressure from the blowing and the coughing can easily cause the bleeding. if it gets to the point where you can't stop the bleeding, then I think it's time to call your GP, but otherwise keep treating them as you have and be gentle
