What is the best ointment to be put on wound/cut for a person who is diabetic. my friend had a bruise and now some liquid coming from it.

Wound care: Is difficult in patients with diabetes. Clean the wound with warm soap & water. Apply Neosporin & dress with bandage. If there is pus or liquid coming from the wound, you should have a doc evaluate it & if warranted, prescribe antibiotics to help it heal. Make sure blood sugar is absolutely controlled. If it is not, makes it difficult for the wound to heal. Do not hesitate to have doc check it out
