A good ointment for a diabetic who has cut/bruised his toe.my father is using neospirin & betadine but he saw rash today..no itch no pus.help?

Throw away the neosp: Neosporin is not useful on wounds and may cause allergic reactions. Betadine may interfere with healing. Lots of water. Lubricate with vaseline or Aquaphor. Avoid bandages unless required for comfort.

Bacitracin: Avoid Neosporin cream (neomycin and polymyxin b) attends across a lot of localized allergic reactions just use bacitracin ointment
