it may be fine : It may heal but it is possible that it developed a small crack or it could become infected later due to the trauma.

Molar trauma: May have experienced occlusal trauma--biting pressure damaged the periodontal ligament at the tip of the tooth. Also could have fractured the tooth. If there is no pain check it at your next dental visit. If pain comes on suddenly then perhaps the tooth is cracked/fractured.
