Visit a doctor: Difficulty breathing can be present with severe anxiety but could be asthma or other diseases. You should visit a doctor.

Mgt workup: It is possible that your asthma has returned. Other possible conditions include a pulmonary embolism. A V/Q scan can be completed for the latter. I would advise seeing medical care right away.
