Asthma, bronchitis, : Upper respiratory infection is the most common cause to precipitate asthma in both adults and children. After he recovers from this episode you should discuss with his physician for further evaluation by an allergist. An allergist may do skin testing, breathing tests, exhaled Nitric Oxide test and may suggest allergy immunotherapy, and use of preventive inhalers.
