Increased urine output? i did have a ct scan of my chest yesterday, i heard that the dye can cause increase urine the day after. is this true?

We'll sort of: the older X-ray dyes or contrast media were hypertonic and did cause a dieresis. Urine output would go up. The newer nonionic media might cause a slight increase. It is still advised to drink water afterward to flush those hardworking kidneys
