Dynamic contrast-enhanced CT can be useful in identifying solitary lung nodule. If you do not have severe allergy with contrast, i.e. anaphylaxis, and you only have rashes or itching with dye, you can be prepared with steroid and antihistamine. However, if IV contrast is definitely contraindicated, lung nodule can be investigated further by other radiology method or procedure, if needed.
