Gastrointestinal upset after dr ordered 4000mg tylenol (acetaminophen) ex-stregnth and maloxocam 15 for 7 days so far. is there something else comparable for pain that's not so hard on the gut?

Options: You may try something like tramadol or at worst an opioid like hydrocdone but that can be hard on the stomach causing constipation. I don't know what your pain is but prednisone may be appropriate too.Many of the pain medications used do cause some gastrointestinal distress unfortunately but you should probably have this discussion with your physician who knows you better than we do.
