Hernia vs Appy: Certain conditions increase in likelihood depending on age. It is possible for extremely strained muscles to be a little swollen and tense. The right lower quadrant also holds possibility for dysfunction in the form of a hernia and/or appendicitis. If the skin over your pubic area is swollen, you should be examined in-person.
