Dryness?: If you live in a very dry area then that can cause nosebleeds. Try running a humidifier or vaporizer at night and use some nasal saline spray several times during the day and at bedtime. If this does not resolve the problem then see your doctor.

Epistaxis: The most common causes of nose bleeding are polyps, chronic sinusitis / allergy blood dyscrasis. You can use saline spray, compression and see ear nose doctor asap . If you are taking OTC blood thinners like aspirin, nsaids like advil motrin , megadose vitamin E you need to stop those until bleeding stops. I also recommend blood test like CBC, coags.

Alot or a little?: If it's just a little, try increasing the humidity in your bedroom and dabbing a little vasoline in the nares that's affected. If it's a lot, you may need packing and will need to see your doctor.
