Reinfection: is probably the cause. Clean your cellphone too when you wash with alcohol based cleanser.

Can take a week: It can take a week on the antibiotic eye drops to totally clear up a pink eye infection. If you are not better after a week then see your doctor. Use your eye drops regularly as prescribed.
