Wouldn't happen: The nose is a moist area that is optional for breathing.As long as your mouth is open you can bypass it and breath.Foreign matter in the nose will tend to accumulate mucous and germs. Kids with retained nasal foreign bodies will begin to smell worse than a set of sweaty gym socks & start draining over a few days which would lead to it being removed.
