I duct tape my mouth shut at night to stop snoring and encourage nose breathing. done it for months and it works. but can any chemicals from the adhesive part of the tape get into my system by way of the mucus membranes of my lips?

Sleep consult: Nasal strip, nasal saline rinses, Flonase and elevation of the head of the bed are other measures. If you have chronic nasal congestion, consider seeing an allergist.
Otherwise sleep consults are available from Healthtap.
Duct tape is not recommended but the adhesive is not generally harmful usually.
