Hard to say: If your kid passed out at the time of the injury there might be a concussion. Vomiting and disorientation would be an expected set of added symptoms. Fever is not, so he may have been incubating an illness while playing. If he is playing normally now with no specific complaints and just a little fever, you can monitor the situation at home. If his behavior is off, have him evaluated.

When did he sleep: Did he lose consciousness after hitting his head? If he did it was probably a concussion. If it was not and he later had a nap or night's sleep, it is likely to be a cold.
