Is it ok to play sports if i still feel light headed but have on and off headache or should i wait longer after a concussion over a week ago?

No; symptom free: You must be symptom free( no headache, lightheadedness, inability to concentrate, etc) for min. 1 week prior to returning to your sport. In fact , you really need to see your physician who can examine you and is familiar w/ post- concussive sxs. And return to sport protocol.

One week after no: More headaches is the minimum recommendation. You may need longer depending on the severity of your concussion. You should be evaluated by your primary care doctor and obtain clearance from them before playing any sports. I know you want to play sports, but your brain needs time to heal.
