Is it true that nuvaring or patch is safer than pill?

No the opposite: The NuvaRing and the patch usually have more hormones in them than low dose pills so low dose pills like loloestrin are safer but all of them are safe if u have no contra-indications or medical problems like high blood pressure etc. A study a few yrs ago showed the patch had a higher % of blood clots than the pills but that was till low please discuss with your gyn.
