Daily pill...: According to the NuvaRing package insert, the blood estrogen concentration in studies was around 20 pg/ml and remained fairly constant after insertion until removed. In the package insert for a 20ug daily pill, the peak blood concentration of estrogen was around 100 pg/ml a few hours after ingestion but the level rapidly fell to 10pg/ml by 24 hours when time for the next dose.
