Dental scope: I have never hear of perioscopy in dentistry. Maybe it is periodontal surgery done under a microscope.this is not needed, periodontal surgery can be accomplished with dental loupes like most dentists have. This is probably a higher fee for no better treatment. If you are talking about a root canal then a microscope can help for difficult cases. Every endodontist Has a endoscope for root canals
