Hives: Likely cholinergic urticaria, hives induced by body heat. Consider cooler/shorter shower to see if triggering is decreased. Treatment generally begins with daily long-acting antihistamine, but know that in at risk populations (such as elderly), the anticholinergic side effects (confusion, urinary retention, sedation, etc) are a concern. Discuss with your doctor.
