My husband breaks out in welts / hives on his upper body .face and head swells really bad .gets a fever with it. he's had blood/allergy tests .?

Don't know: Hives and swelling are common. With fever - can happen. Has this been happening for awhile? Does it itch? Do antihistamines (like benadryl) help? Test results? His case sounds unusual, but don't have enough details. Time to see a board certified allergist.
