No and Yes: Stress does not cause lymph node enlargement. They react to challenges to our immune system such as infection, inflammation and cancer. Your physician can sort these possibilities out after getting from you a complete history and physical..if necessary, your dr may also order a lymph node biopsy which will show the exact pathology
