RBC: Red blood cells low indicates anemia

It can mean: a low rbc count or a normal count but with low hemoglobin in the rbc's. Either way there is low hemoglobin but different causes requiring different therapy.

Anemia=low hgb: Anemia means you have a decreased amount of red blood cells, or hemoglobin, circulating in your body. Hemoglobin is the portion of the blood that carries oxygen throughout your body. Being anemic, you may feel fatigued, cold, short of breath or even look pale. As a young female, the most common cause of anemia is your menses. If you have a heavy flow, you may need to address this with your OB-GYN.
