AMH: With increasing age, the size of your pool of remaining microscopic follicles/eggs in the ovary decreases. Likewise, your blood anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) levels and the number of ovarian antral follicles visible on ultrasound also decreases. If you have an AMH less than 1, that would indicate that you have a very low number of eggs remaining and decreased fertility.
