No: It is unfortunate that you lost your hearing in one ear after an infection presumably of the ear drum. This should have no bearing on development of subsequent allergies.

Maybe: My suspicion is that the damage to the pharyngeal mucosa and potential scarring left you susceptible to inhaled irritants in general, which is similar to true allergy with regard to nasal/sinus symptoms; but new allergy is possible as well. An Allergist can confirm allergic sensitization or diagnose other causes of chronic rhinitis and off appropriate treatment.
