Need GYN follow up: You need to see a GYN MD in their office for follow up care to be certain that the ovarian cyst is completely gone. An ultrasound exam will help along with the pelvic exam. Those studies will determine the answer to your question of how long, etc. The MD can also provide Rx for the pain if necessary.
