Can pain from a ruptured cyst last 9+ days? i went to the er twice - first time diagnosed and second time worsening symptoms. ct scan and ultrasound showed just ruptured ovarian cyst both times. (ill be going to gyno but they are always booked out?

The pain could last that long. The inflammation may peak about a few hours after the rupture however the body clearing of what was spilled in the abdomen and the chemicals from the inflammatory cells may last to about 6 weeks and pain may start subsiding by about 2 weeks. However it depends on the size of the cyst and the modulatory effect that could vary from one person to another.
