"Culture club": No, not the singing group, but taking a culture of the vaginal and urine samples to see what the organisms are and what antibiotics are resistant to those resulting organisms BEFORE you begin another round of Rx. The "shotgun" approach to antibiotic use often misses the mark and worse compounds the available number of antibiotics for ultimate treatment. The CDC states "we are running out of meds."

BV: You may need to be on vaginal metronidazole for up to 6 weeks and you need to see if your physician has found a reason for the persistent infection. You can also use a vaginal probiotic. I occasionally suggest one called fem flora from swanson vitamins.
