Back pain: The movement low in the pelvis could just be that your baby is breech currently. Some low back pain is normal, but if episodic it could be contractions. If you're getting prenatal care your doctor/midwife likely has an after hours answering service. Call the office and see if you connect to the service or get a service number and speak with that person or the on call provider.

Please go: Being sent home is nothing compared to having a premature baby. You're right its probably not active labor but it could be. It also could be a urinary tract infection which makes it worth the trip. Good Luck!
