Remove: pilar cysts are so easy to remove. Smaller incision than the cyst. Easy dissection. They pop out. Just have them excised not drained.

Had a benign-looking mole surgically excised for cosmetic reasons. For some reason the Dr did not send for pathology. Do I have any options now to check the tissue to make sure the area is benign? Or do I have to wait to see if something grows back?

Infected cyst just under eyebrow. Prescribed doxycycline hyclate and mupirocin. How quick will these two meds reduce cyst size. Will I still have to get this drained. Or will meds remove cyst. Not sure why derm didn't go ahead and drain. ?
