You may have bug : bites and if it's still irritating you may want to make sure to get rid of the cause (sand fleas, horse fleas, chiggers), and treat for symptomatic comfort. Prevent againt infection and itching and swelling with OTC medications as needed. If it gets worse, see PCP and get prescription strength meds. Oral Diphenhydramine (Benadryl (diphenhydramine) generic) will counteract the histamine that's causing the itching.

Probably scabies.: You might want to see your physician soon. It sounds a little like scabies. This could be contagious. If this turns out to be true, everyone in the household will need to be treated 5% Permethrin cream from neck down then take shower. This can be repeated a week later.
