Bypass & pregnant: Yes. A woman can safely go through a pregnancy after having a gastric bypass. It is recommended to wait at least a year after having the bypass before getting pregnant. You must take prenatal vitamins on top of the vitamins you would take for the bypass to ensure that a nutritional deficiency doesn't develop.
