Recurrent tonsilliti: Having 8 episodes of tonsillitis is an indication for tonsillectomy especially if the tonsils are enlarged. Recurrent streptococcal tonsillopharyngitis can cause complications such as rheumatic fever, acute glomerulonephrtis. It is best if goes for the surgery because it is difficult to prevent getting more throat infections being in contact with other people in school. Best wishes
