Depends on med: Some antibiotics can lower plan B effectiveness, they are ampicillin, cotrimoxazole (in Bactrim), tetracycline, & clarithromycin. Be sure to check brand and generic names if you think you might be taking one of these. Happy to answer more specific knowing the medication for uti.
