I cut my finger pretty deep (a good ~2-3mm) yesterday with a knife at home. it bled for about 15 minutes, but i cleaned it with clean water immediately and covered it tight with a band-aid shortly after. what infections do i need to worry about, if any?

Staph: Staph infections are the most common skin infections but you don't really need to worry about the type of infection just make sure you keep it clean and see a doctor if you have any redness or pus around the wound. Also if you you have not had a tetanus shot in the last five years it would be good to get that updated now.
